Each piece is a custom work of art making every one unique and special. I work with my clients to develop the concept and then I take it from there, “it won’t be an exact replica of a photo”. Fine art is a skill and practice that takes time and patience to complete. Realistic charcoal and graphite works take many hours to conceptualize, draw, and fine tune. Due to the level of detail I put into each piece, I require high quality, high resolution reference photos to be provided by the client. I am active on several social media platforms, therefore I also require the client to sign a photo release form, which releases the rights of the photograph to me, so that I can use it openly and freely- including but not limited to; process videos and pictures, as well as fine art prints for purchase.
Once a piece as been decided on, a 30% deposit is required to hold your place. I am usually booked several months out, so I will give you an estimated timeframe on when to expect me to start your artwork and when to anticipate its completion. These are estimates and do change depending on the process of each piece. I will update you when I am about a month out from starting your piece. At that time we will discuss the drawing details one more time, make any final changes to the concept, sign the order agreement, and final payment is due.
Once a piece has been started there are no changes or cancelations. During the drawing process you are welcome to inquire about the progress at anytime. Due to the fact that most of my clients have a difficult time visualizing the end result, I do not send progress photos. Upon completion of the work, I will send you a high resolution, watermarked, picture of the piece.
Each artwork will be signed, dated, and wrapped in glassine paper to protect it from any acids that may be present in the packing materials. You will receive a certificate of authenticity that shows all of the details about the piece; when it was created, what kind of paper and materials were used, etc… All of the materials and papers I use are high quality, archival, and museum grade.
Depending on the size of the piece, it will either be shipped flat or in a shipping tube. I take great care to insure there will be no damage during shipping. Once the piece has been shipped I will provide you with all of the tracking information and any shipping questions will then need to go through the shipping company.
These pieces are created with extreme care and detail, they take many hours to complete, and are unique to each client, therefore there are no refunds, returns, exchanges, or cancellations.
